Financial Aid Instructions

1. Complete the one page “Financial Aid Application”. This can be downloaded at the right. Mail this directly to Houston Christian High School, attn: Director of Business Affairs, 2700 W. Sam Houston Pkwy. N, Houston, TX, 77043. Please include a copy of your most recent IRS Form 1040 and related schedules. If your tax return for the current year is not yet prepared, please send a copy of the prior year return and the current year W-2 Forms. You may, if necessary, also attach a letter for the Finance Committee explaining unusual circumstances regarding your financial situation.
2. Complete the Parent’s Financial Statement using one of the two available options:
   1. Complete the form online by going to www.nais.org/financialaid/sss. The processing fee charged by School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) of approximately $20 will need to be paid by credit card. The school will receive the Report of the Family Contribution back from the SSS within 10 days.
   2. Complete by hand the forms available in the Business Office and mail with a personal check for the processing fee DIRECTLY to School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) in the envelope provided. The school will receive the Report of Family Contribution back from the SSS within 3 to 4 weeks from the date mailed.
3. Families who must have financial assistance in order to attend, should indicate this in writing on the bottom of the Application for Financial Aid in order to receive a refund of the tuition deposit.
