Course Description

The HCHS Orchestra is an exciting and rapidly growing member of the Fine Arts Department and is open to all string instrumentalists. This award-winning ensemble competes in the TAPPS Music Contest and the TPSMEA All-State auditions, performs several concerts each year and plays quarterly for a variety of community service venues. For contests and concerts the strings also join with select band students to form the HCHS Symphony Orchestra and experience the thrill of creating music in a full orchestra setting.
