Capital Campaign

Building Excellence, Shaping Generations

Dear HCHS Families and Friends,

Thanks to the generous support of our trustees, parents, foundations, and friends, the Building Excellence, Shaping Generations capital campaign has been a huge success so far. We have reached our minimum goal to begin construction. This has given us much to celebrate!

The Board and HCHS Family portions of the campaign are complete. However, we are continuing the Community portion of our campaign throughout the fall and will announce our final tallies later this year.

Progress has already been made in each area of construction. Sidewalks have been poured in the Founders Circle and it is really taking shape. Preparation work has begun on the new tennis center. Foundations have been poured for both the Drake Performing Arts Center and the McNair Gymnasium and the steel framing nears completion. The contractors expect to be closing in the buildings in the next few weeks. The buildings are projected for completion in January or February, weather permitting. Students really look forward to getting into these new facilities!

Please join us in celebrating this incredible progress. Young peoples’ lives will be changed through this campaign. To God be the glory, great things He has done.

Blessings,

Steve M. Livingston, Ed.D.
Head of School
